3. Introduction
The teacher begins the lesson by asking the following questions:
Do we say a apple or an apple? Why?
Do we say a university or an university?
Why do we say the Sun but a star?
Can we use the before the names of rivers and oceans?
Why are articles important in English?

The teacher explains that articles are small words placed before nouns. They help us identify whether we are talking about a specific person, place, or thing or about any one of them. Correct use of articles makes our speech and writing clear and grammatically accurate.
