The Tortoise and the Hare
Once upon a time, in a dense forest, a slow-moving tortoise was walking along a path. A hare, known for his speed, saw the tortoise and burst into laughter. "How can you move so slowly?" the hare mocked. The tortoise felt sad but calmly replied, "Speed doesn't always guarantee success." To prove his point, he challenged the hare to a race. Amused, the hare agreed.
The race began, and the hare sprinted ahead while the tortoise moved slowly but steadily. Confident of his victory, the hare decided to rest under a tree and soon fell asleep. Meanwhile, the tortoise continued moving without stopping. When the hare woke up, he was shocked to see the tortoise nearing the finish line. Despite running as fast as he could, the hare couldn't catch up, and the tortoise won the race. The hare learned an important lesson—consistent effort leads to success.

Birbal's Clever Answer
Emperor Akbar was always amazed by the wisdom of his minister, Birbal. However, some courtiers were jealous of Birbal and wanted to test his intelligence. One day, they asked Akbar to challenge Birbal with a difficult question. Akbar agreed and asked Birbal, "Can you tell me how many crows are there in Agra?"
Birbal requested a week to find the answer. Every day, he sat on the terrace, observing the crows. After a week, the courtiers asked for his answer. Birbal confidently said, "There are exactly 156,757 crows in Agra." Surprised, the courtiers challenged him, asking how he could be sure. Birbal smiled and replied, "If you don't believe me, you can count them yourself!" Akbar laughed at his wit and once again praised Birbal’s intelligence.

The Honest Woodcutter
A hardworking woodcutter was cutting wood near a pond. Unfortunately, his axe slipped from his hands and fell into the water. He became very sad and started weeping, as the axe was his only tool for earning a living. Suddenly, an angel appeared and asked him what had happened. The woodcutter explained his plight.
The angel dived into the pond and brought out a golden axe. The woodcutter shook his head and said, "This is not mine." The angel then brought out a silver axe, but again, the woodcutter refused, saying, "This is not mine either." Finally, the angel pulled out an old iron axe, and the woodcutter happily said, "Yes! This one is mine."
Pleased with the woodcutter’s honesty, the angel rewarded him by giving him all three axes. The woodcutter thanked the angel and went home happily, proving that honesty is always rewarded.
