6. Consolidation and Presentation (Summary)
Aditya and his friend visit Bramhapur after twenty-nine years. They meet Sasanka Sanyal, Aditya's former classmate. Aditya remembers that he had secretly taken Sasanka's silver medal during childhood and hidden it in the attic of his ancestral house. Feeling guilty, he searches the attic, finds the medal, and returns it to its rightful owner. Sasanka forgives Aditya after receiving the medal. The story teaches that mistakes should be corrected and honesty brings peace of mind.
